Cabbage Soup
- 6 Carrots
- 2 Green Peppers
- 6 Large Onions
- 1 Whole Celery
- 1 lb of Green Beans
- 1 Large Cabbage
- 3 Whole Tomatoes (chopped) or 2 tins of tomatoes
- 2 Chicken Stock Cubes
Note: If you are on any medication or have a medical condition, always consult a medical practitioner before changing your diet
Make the soup in the usual way. If any ingredient is not liked, double up on something else. A couple of leeks give a nice taste. When cooked, keep in the fridge or freezer until needed. Use the soup every day, and additional portions of soup are good as the more you eat, the more you lose.
Avoid potatoes, peas or baked beans. Avoid alcohol and drink only skimmed milk, avoid nuts.
Day 1
Eat the soup for every meal and any amount of fruit except bananas.
Day 2
Eat fresh fruit and the soup in the evening - A large baked potato (and
butter if wished)
Day 3
Eat fresh fruit and vegetables. Eat the soup.
Day 4
Eat up to eight bananas and drink a glass of skimmed milk to each banana.
Eat the soup.
Day 5
Eat up to 11 oz of Beef and a tin of tomatoes. Eat the soup
Day 7
Eat brown rice. Unsweetened fruit juice. Eat the soup.
If preferred, substitute fish, chicken or another healthy protein for the beef.
You can drink:
Unsweetened teas, black coffee occasionaly, unsweetened fruit juices, skimmed
milks, fresh vegetables.
Keep away from bread and carbonated drinks after the first 6 days, you can repeat the diet for the 2nd week if required
